Driving interest and passion for technical professions

The Johann Ludwig Schneller School (JLSS) in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon aims to enable disadvantaged children to grow up in a healthy environment – regardless of their origin, nationality, religious affiliation, or gender.

In addition to various school qualifications, dual vocational training with a strong practical focus is also offered here, including the professions of carpenter, locksmith, and automotive mechatronics technician. For the vocational field of car mechanics, it makes sense to expand the range of courses to include e-mobility. In Lebanon, fuels are expensive and difficult to obtain, whereas solar energy is not.

Objective
Support

In the future, JLSS should be able to offer dual vocational training in the field of e-mobility. This aims to enable an additional, qualified vocational qualification that is also attractive to young women.

An additional module to the existing curriculum is being developed for the JLSS, which can either be added to the existing training or acquired as an additional qualification. Suitable training vehicles and teaching materials will also be made available.
