We couldn’t agree more.KinderHelden takes the time to bring together carefully selected “tandems” consisting of one primary school student and one volunteer mentor. The mentors meet weekly with the children, typically over the course of several years. They offer orientation and perspective and help the children actively and confidently take charge of their education and free time.
We support that.
Once a year we open our doors to the KinderHelden tandems, inviting them to take a look around our offices and visit various stations. The agenda includes an opportunity to explore AEB’s software and to visit the DigitalLab – plus lots of games and outdoor activities. Our dedicated employees oversee these activities and offer insights into the kind of work they do.
Who knows: Maybe we’ll give the kids an idea or two for their own future careers?
