Code Checker Lab is a programming school for children aged 6-18. "Shaping the future" is the start-up's credo. A wide range of courses on coding, flanked by entrepreneurship courses, allows children and young people to quickly and effortlessly discover completely new possibilities for themselves and try them out in practice.

Code Checker Lab was developed and initiated by an AEB employee and his wife. The school started online during the lockdown and is now also gaining momentum in person.
But the two founders want more. They want their offer to be accessible to children from disadvantaged families as quickly as possible. This is exactly in line with the mission of the AEB-Stiftung and at the same time offers an opportunity for the involvement of other AEB colleagues.
On the one hand, families who can prove that they are in need can apply to the AEB-Stiftung to have their course fees covered. After an assessment by two members of staff, the AEB-Stiftung covers the costs for all beginner and advanced courses. Our partnership with the programming school also has a name: Code Checker with Heart. The first two boys have already successfully completed their courses.
On the other hand, the courses developed by the Code Checker Lab will also be offered to children from the St. Bruno School in Uganda. The appropriate technical infrastructure is already in place there to teach various IT skills online. The language of instruction is English, so there are no language barriers. Six colleagues volunteered to be trained by the Code Checker Lab as tutors for various courses.
